The fragrance blends pink peppercorn, wild strawberry delight, juicy rose note, black cherry liqueur, jasmine sambac, bitter almond oil, vanilla note, moss accord, and tonka beans…delicious.

2. Equate Moisture Care Cocoa
Smell: This is not to be confused with the vaseline brand. The Equate brand is smoother, thicker and has a rich, buttery smell! I use this body oil both in the hotter seasons and colder seasons! I would suggest to combine this with any other vanilla creams.
With ingredients such as Mineral Oil and Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter! (Probably where it gets it’s amazing smell from!) and has the benefits of replenishing, moisturizing and giving glowy skin. You’ll come out looking like Tyrese singing his heart and scalp out on a sunny day in a 90s music video with no hand towel.

Smell: I am in huge support for black owned businesses, and also student businesses! As a student of Prairie View A&M University there are so many innovative and inspiring entrepreneurs and businesses! This Multipurpose Flaxseed Shea butter, without any bias and straight fact, is THE best shea butter I have ever purchased. When I wear it, it is a conversation grabber because it smells so good.
It’s multipurpose and promotes moisture for hair and skin and trust me I put it on both. I would encourage everyone to put down that hard block of shea butter you have already and get into the Anjelic Hair Care buttery creamed products! Smell Good, feel good, look good.

4. Razac Hand & Body Lotion
Smell: This is an old school goodie! This lotion hold nostalgic value, my grandma used to put this on when I was younger and even now I love the smell of it! This is especially good for the heavy cold weather girlies because it has a very thick consistency, a deep moisturizer and a beautiful sultry rose smell.
To be honest, I’m not sure why they discontinued the Razac lotion in stores, you might find them in a beauty supply store near you or on Amazon. This lotion is also like a perfume so you won’t necessarily need to layer this one because the smell is already aromatic but if you do I would layer it with a softer smelling perfume.

5. Beachcomber Budd’s Pure Coconut Oil original scent
Smell: “I taste just like candy!” Now, Foxy Brown might have said it first, but this Coconut oil DID IT FIRST! This is the sweetest smell on my list and yes, it does have a strong coconut smell. For my melanated girls, do not be alarmed by the “natural tanning” effect, you should still use this. I believe it evens out your skin and it is a great summer scent. It is PURE coconut oil so over time it does crystalize but don’t worry, usually I just heat it back up in my microwave for a few seconds or you can run it under hot water and it liquifies back up.
Now, it is also said to be able to be used to hydrate frizzy and damaged hair, but I personally never used it on my 4c hair. It also claims to be used to moisturize your lips, but I have never used it on my lips either. On the topic of skin though, it is a great choice! How would you use this product?

6. Maison Francis Kurkdjian Gentle Fluidity Gold
Smell: If you want to talk about luxury, then honey this that one! I don’t own this one but I will never forget this one. I remember while I was working at chipotle, sweating under my cap and robotically serving customer after customer and I smell this captivating fragrance. I had to ask this lady, “Ma’am you smell so good! What are you wearing?” She was older, casually but nicely put together. She couldn’t put the whole name to it but she did remember “Gentle Fluidity”
After work, I went right on amazon to see the price and baby, was I surprised! This is before I start really getting into perfumes and seeing how pricey they could actually be but it had such an impression of smell on me that I still remember how amazing my first time coming across it was like.

7. Vera Wang Eau De Parfum Spray
Smell: Vera Wang has range! To her shoes, to her clothes, to her engagement rings and this perfume! This is another one my grandma had worn, as you can tell she is top class, and it smelled so good! It was unusually harder to find because I wanted to make sure this was the right one because my grandma had two of them.
For an inexpensive perfume, this one is pretty good! If you want a nice smell and something that doesn’t dig a whole into your purse, through your wallet, into your pocket, this is the place of investment for you! I also would recommend this if this is your first perfume!
